Virginia L. Burch, age 87 of Midland, passed away January 22, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Orin and Mary (Barton) Beach on March 19, 1938 in Midland, where she was raised and educated, graduating from Midland Highschool in 1955. Virginia went on to work at Pinecrest Farms in Midland, retiring in 1996 after almost 12 years of service. Virginia had a love for travelling, camping, and fishing. She could often be found at local yard sales both in Midland and Arizona where she liked to spend her winters.
Virginia loved her family dearly and cherished any time spent with them, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered by her children, Carleen (Robert) Campbell, Gail (Steve) Kissinger and family, Rodney (Eileen) Burch and family, Paul (Tammy) Burch and family; her grandchildren, Chad (Stacey), Megan (Isaah), Brooklynn, Carlee, and Brenden; many great grandchildren; siblings, Keith (Julie) Beach, Tina (Ray) Pelton, Helen McFarlane, Monica (Paul) Eastman; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was welcomed home to heaven by her husband of 26 years, Roy Burch; her son, Everett Doran; great granddaughter, Scarlett Sims; daughter, Annamay (Mike) Kissinger; brother, Robert Beach; and brother-in-law, John McFarlane.
Virginia’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Midland Missionary Church. Her grandson, Pastor David Kissinger will officiate with burial to be in Lee Township Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday at the church from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be offered to the Alzheimer’s Association.
