Virginia Lynn Coffin Gauthier, 62, a beloved mother, sister, partner, and friend, passed away on July 18, 2025, after facing physical complications with remarkable resilience. Born in Newport News, VA, Virginia was a beacon of strength and joy in the lives of those who knew her. Has faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and is presently in His presence.
Virginia was the cherished daughter of Jack and Mary Bates Gauthier, who preceded her in death along with her beloved daughter, Holly Oliver. Virginia's legacy lives on through her devoted family: her sister, Ruth Ann Gauthier; her brothers, Jack and Nancy Gauthier; her loving partner, Michael E. McGlaun; her sons, Nicholas and Latesha Adkins, and Jessie Brittian; and her cherished grandchildren, Brandon and Brittany Adkins, and Delany Brittian.
Throughout her life, Virginia was known for her unwavering spirit and her joyful approach to life's pleasures. She worked diligently in the hospitality industry, where she was employed at popular establishments such as the County Grill, Cracker Barrel, and Red Lobster. Her years as a waitress were marked by her ability to connect with others, offering warmth and kindness to every guest she served.
