Virginia Leigh Crandall, age 68 of Pekin, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in her residence.
Born November 15, 1956 in New Albany, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Vashti (Haas) Brocar.
She was a retired employee of Samtec in New Albany, was a graduate of Borden High School class of 1975 and loved baking cakes and sweets, flowers and crafts and spending time with her grandkids.
On July 15, 2019 she married Tim Dale Crandall, who survives.
Also surviving are: 2 Sons: Matthew (Sarah) Meyer of Memphis, Indiana and Mark (Mariah) Meyer of New Washington, Indiana; 1 Stepson: Anthony Crandall of Salem; 4 Stepdaughters: Mariah Taylor of Salem,: Katelyn Griffus of Brownstown, Ashley Crandall of Salem and Tabitha Crandall of Fort Wayne; 3 Sisters: Linda (Larry) Jones, Juanita (Jerry) Hobbs and Rose (Doug) Thomas; 2 Brothers: Bobby (Tina) Brocar, Gary (Susan) Brocar and 19 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 nephew, Christopher Jones.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Monday January 27th and 9 am until the time of the service on Tuesday.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by interment in Crown Hill Cemetery.
