Virginia Alice DeMouche of Savannah and wife of the late William DeMouche passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024. She was born in Collins, Georgia to the late Robert Cooper Cowart and the late Ruby Iris Strozier Cowart.

She was a bookkeeper for many years in the Savannah area. Virginia was a dedicated member at White Bluff Methodist Church, part of the Wayfarers Sunday School Class. Her last years were enjoyed working at Tuesday Mornings Department Store.

Virginia was also preceded in death, a brother Robert C. Cowart, Jr. and her first husband, Mack Kennedy.

Surviving are: two daughters, Robin (Ira) Johnston and Paige (Marcello) Finelli; grandchildren, Taylor (Eric) Grundy, Adam (India) Johnston and Marcello Finelli; great-grandchildren, Peyton and Parker Grundy; a nephew, Jeff (Lisa) Cowart.

The family will receive friends at 10 o'clock until 11 o'clock Tuesday morning, July 23, 2024, at Gamble Funeral Service- 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah.

Memorial Services will follow at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning, July 23, 2024, in the Chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. The Reverend Dr. Barry Giddens will officiate.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Virginia's memory to White Bluff Methodist Church, 11911 White Bluff Rd, Savannah, GA 31419
