Virginia "Ginny" Foreman Lewis

VIRGINIA FOREMAN “GINNY” LEWIS, 53, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 26, 2024 in her home.

A lifelong resident of Jackson, SC, Ginny was a daughter of the late Clinton Foreman, Jr. and Patricia Mason Parker. She was a lifelong member of Matlock Baptist Church. She graduated from Silver Bluff High School and received her nursing degree from USC-Aiken. She worked at several area hospitals as a Registered Nurse and also worked in home healthcare. Known for her spirited support, she was also a passionate fan of the Georgia Bulldogs.

Above all, Ginny loved her family and friends deeply. She had an unyielding affection for her grandchildren and was a constant presence at their sporting events, as well as those of her nieces and nephews.

Surviving are three daughters, Ashton Brooke Lewis (Michael Parker), Jasmine Danielle Strang (Antonio Key), Terre’ Monique Anderson (Khaloab); eight grandchildren, Tatum Hazel, Michael Parker, Jr., Zaniya Strang, Aubri Strang, Antonio Key, Jr., Bryson Key, Eastynn Anderson, Everleigh Anderson; three brothers, Keith Foreman (Katica), Todd Foreman (Rhonda), Kerry Foreman (Holly), all of Aiken; her maternal grandmother, Virginia Ann Mason, Harlem, GA and nine nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday morning, August 31st beginning at 10 o'clock at Matlock Baptist Church.  A Memorial Service will follow at 11 o'clock in the church.
