Our beloved mom, Ginger Holland, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday morning, November 1, 2025.
Mom didn’t want to live to be 90 years old, so she left this world peacefully at 88. She was happy to be back in Texas where she was born and raised.
Mom loved to sing! Growing up, we would hear Mom sing when cleaning the house and cooking meals. She’s now singing with the angels!!
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 2:00, with Bro. Clif Phillips officiating and Tim and Lisa Wheeler sharing a few of Mom’s favorite songs, in the Atrium of Wesley Court Living Facility in Abilene, TX. This memorial will be live streamed for those who cannot attend.
Mom is proceeded in death by our dad and love of her life, Marvin Holland; and the second love of her life, Jimmy Webb.
Mom is survived by four children and spouses: Glenda and Martin Green; Randy and Kathi Holland; Larry and Terry Holland; and Lisa and Tim Wheeler; along with grandchildren, Kristi and Bryan Williams; David and Brooke Green; Andrea and Mark Gerig; Erin and Brody Berry; Chris and Christa Holland; Jennifer LeBlanc; Holly and Skylar White; and Faith and Skyler Garner. Mom was blessed with fourteen great grandchildren; Brother, Dean Vaughn; Sister, Rebecca Duncan; and several nieces and nephews, and Jack Boyd “The Boyfriend” as he calls himself, was her companion at Wesley Court. They shared many laughs and movies.
Mom’s Christian Faith was most important to her! She shared Jesus through the EE (Evangelism Explosion) training program and as a Sunday School Teacher to high school girls. And for those who knew her, they knew she loved to play games. Bridge was her first love.
Mom would make sure she got her housekeeping finished so she could go play Bridge with friends or host a party in her home. She also loved to play the card game, “Canasta” and “Hand and Foot”, with friends and family. Lisa used to tease Mom about being the “Queen of Cards” and winning most of the time.
Mom was a Beautiful, Classy, Lady; with a great sense of humor and will be missed dearly!! But we know that one day, we will have an eternity together with her and our loved ones.
Memorials can be given to The Gideons International, PO Box 64291 Lubbock, 79464 or your church or mission organization to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
