Frederick was born on October 6, 1968, in
Abilene, Texas, to Danny Jay Rodgers and Stella Lawanda Ghant. He received his education from Abilene High School and went on to earn his degree in Culinary Arts through Sodexo. A talented chef with a passion for serving others, Frederick worked as the Executive Chef for Meals on Wheels, Hendrick Medical Center, and Alley Cats. He also catered events at the Abilene Country Club, including the annual golf tournament, where his skills in the kitchen were always appreciated.
A devoted member of Galilee Baptist Church, Frederick lived his life with joy, humor, and love. Known for his incredible cooking and quick wit, he was the heart of every family gathering. Thanksgiving and Christmas meals were always a friendly competition in his family - and Frederick took great pride in his culinary creations.
Frederick was a family man through and through. He loved spending time with his loved ones, sharing laughter, telling jokes, and cheering for his favorite football team, the Jacksonville Jaguars. A proud former Abilene High Eagle, he wore number 74 during his football days and carried that same team spirit throughout his life.
Though he was teased about his dancing skills, Frederick's lighthearted nature and fun-loving personality made every moment with him special. He will be remembered for his generous heart, his laughter, and the way he brought people together - especially around a good meal.
Frederick's legacy of love, laughter, and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
