PLAINFIELD - Virginia Kay House, age 75, of Plainfield, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Paragould, Arkansas on June 10, 1950, to Andrew House and Ethel (Tucker) Nation. She married Bobby Ray House on September 14, 1968, in Indianapolis. Virginia worked for Meijer for many years. She was involved with the Eagles Club in Greenfield and Plainfield. Virginia liked going to the Casino's, traveling the United States, going on cruises, and especially loved Elvis Presley. She is survived by her children, Andrew (Dana) House and Angela Pearson; three grandchildren, Gavin (Brianna) LaFlower, Karma Brinker, and Garrett LaFlower; and six great-grandchildren, Paxon, Milo, Evelyn, Rory, Taylor, and Aubrey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew House and Ethel Nation; husband, Bobby Ray House; and grandchild, Jordan House. Private family services will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Hancock Hope House, 35 East Pierson Street, Greenfield, IN 46140, or by website at https://www.hancockhopehouse.org/donate/. Friends may share a memory or condolence at www.erleweinmortuary.com. Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield.
