Virginia (Ginny) Karolewicz, 75, of Manalapan, New Jersey, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, October 12, 2025. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Virginia later settled in Fords, where she and her late husband, Henry Karolewicz, built a beautiful life and raised their family. For many years, Virginia worked as a talented hairdresser in Kenilworth, NJ, and later as a travel agent. Though she took pride in her professional accomplishments, her most cherished role was that of a devoted mother and grandmother. Affectionately known as "Nanny" to her beloved grandchildren, Virginia was the heart of her family - the matriarch who kept everyone connected and laughing. She had an incredible gift for making others feel loved and will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and unwavering devotion to her family. Virginia is survived by her loving children, Darren Karolewicz and Trisha and her husband, Richard Buehler; her treasured grandchildren, Aubrey, Gianna, Mason, Logan, and Madison; her dear brother, Ronald Solinski, and his wife, Carol. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Joyce Karolewicz. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Vincenza Solinski; her beloved husband, Henry Karolewicz; her brothers, John and Patrick Solinski; her sisters-in-laws, Roseanne and Clair Solinski; and her brother-in-law, Joseph Karolewicz. A Funeral Mass will be held in her honor on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church in Manalapan, NJ. In accordance with Virginia's wishes, there will be no viewing. Her family invites all who knew and loved her to celebrate her life in their own special way - and to raise a glass of wine in her memory. Virginia will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love and laughter she shared with all who knew her.
