Virginia Lee Meade, age 66 of Mayking, Kentucky, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday March 1, 2023, at the University of Louisville Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on December 29, 1956, in Fleming Neon, Kentucky to the late John and Pauline Smith Brown. She was the Wife of the late Brack Meade.
Virginia is survived by her Sons: Brack Meade Jr (Fiancé Shannon Hale), Manuel Meade, Remes Crawford and Joseph Cornett; Daughters: Leada Meade and Tabitha Little (Andrew), Nancy Knapp (Steven); 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends; Special Daughter-In-Laws and Son-In-Law: Ollie Meade, Donna Brown and William Taylor.
Virginia was preceded in passing by her Husband: Brack Meade; Parents: John and Pauline Smith Brown; Brothers: Joe Brown, Larry Dean Brown and Alfred Brown: Sister: Katherine Baker. Virginia will be missed by all that knew and loved her, but we feel that our loss is truly Havens gain.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday March 4, 2023, at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Hindman, Kentucky. Visitation will be start on Thursday March 2, 2023, from 6-10 PM and Friday March 3, 2023 from 10 AM-10 PM with services Friday evening at 7 PM with Bo Hammonds, Ted Collins and Brian Hogg officiating. Burial will follow at the Haven of Rest Cemetery in Mayking, Kentucky.
