Virginia Mae Osborne, age 91 of Irvington, New Jersey, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the home of her son Stephen (Sara) Osborne in DeLand Florida. She was born October 13, 1931 to the late William Atwood Osborne and the late Mary Josephine Doyle Osborne.
Virginia (Ginny) is proceeded in death by her brother William A. Osborne Jr. and one grandchild, Owen Gingras. She is survived by her five children, Stephen (Sara) Osborne, Glen (Janice) Gingras, Monique Glosson, Corinne Gingras, and Jeannine (John) Tornese as well as her six grandchildren, Robin (Eryn) Gingras, Patrick Gingras, Brooke Glosson, Taylor Fleming, Reagan Tornese, and Ryan Tornese.
Ginny grew up in New Jersey and later moved to Miam where she raised her five children. Ginny loved to travel and was a member of the Newcomer's Club & Friendship Force Atlanta traveling all over the world including Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, England, Ireland, Scotland, Greece, Canada, and many areas of the United States. Ginny also loved sewing, reading, quilting, cooking, and golfing. Ginny's greatest love was spending time with her family and friends.
A Family Hosted Celebration of Life for Ginny will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church March 4 at 11 o'clock AM. In leu of flowers, donations may be made Gentiva Hospice in honor of Virginia M. Osborne.
