Virginia Pesnell Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crestview Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home on Jul. 7, 2025.
Virginia June Pesnell, age 85, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Virginia lived a full and joyful life centered around her family and the simple pleasures she loved most.

Born on September 22, 1939, Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Pesnell; her brother, Fred James; and her sisters, Betty James, Doris Clark, and Cordelia Carter.

She is survived by her loving sons, Robby Pesnell and Rodney Pesnell (Christy); her cherished grandchildren, Loren Smith (Robert), Parker Pesnell, and Casey Oates (Chandler); and her precious great-granddaughter, Cora Jane Smith - all of whom brought immense pride and joy to her life.

Virginia had a passion for Alabama football and never missed a chance to cheer them on " Roll Tide". She also was a devoted member of her church which she attended regularly. She also found peace and happiness in trips to the beach and the mountains, but nothing meant more to her than spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored and worshipped.

Her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered and treasured always.
