Virginia (Walker) Sale, 75, of Northfield, passed away early Saturday morning, October 19, 2024, at Dove Healthcare Center-West in Eau Claire.
Virginia Mae Sale was born November 11, 1948, in Eau Claire, WI, the daughter of William and Lois (Woodford) Walker. She was raised in the Fall Creek and Augusta area and attended Fall Creek High School.
Virginia was the proud mother of five children born to her and David Johnson; Michael Johnson of Ohio, Darrell and Troy Johnson both of Osseo, Michelle (Michael) Kinzelman of Ohio, and her daughter Candy Johnson who passed away in 1992.

The couple made their home in Spring Valley, IL, until 2010 when they purchased a home and moved to Northfield. Virginia and Gregg shared 25 wonderful years together before Gregg passed away on Jan. 27, 2022. Since then Virginia had remained in their home in Northfield until just recently entering the Dove Healthcare Center under the care of Heartland Hospice.
Besides her 4 children, Virginia is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Cody Webster, Dalton Johnson, Samantha Cochick and Dillon Johnson; brothers, Rodney Walker of Augusta, Brian Walker of Cadott, Kevin Walker of Augusta; sister, Patricia Veverka of Morris, IL: brother-in-law John Kenealy of Cadott; also by aunts, Delores Woodford of Augusta, Evelyn Plock of Barron, Phyllis Lane of Florida, Eileen "Tootie" Williams of Moline, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
