Virginia Stiltner, 88, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 31, 2025, at her home surrounded by family, after a brief illness. She was a longtime member of Rocky Summit Missionary Baptist Church in Bean Station, TN. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who loved to cook, bake, and care for her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Steve Stiltner; son, Ronald Steve Stiltner; son-in-law, Jackie Mahon; parents, William O. and Evia Corum; brother, Thomas Corum; and a sister, Betty Hale.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Agnes) Stiltner, Alicia Mahon, and Sandy (Ronald) Newsome; grandchildren, La Tasha, Ken, Christy, Keshia, and Courtney; great grandchildren, Alli, Jacob, Bowen, Caroline, Collin, Addalynn, and Tatum; great-great granddaughter, Ellis; sister, Serena Loney and several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of U.T. Hospice.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00PM, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home, with Rev. David Marshall and Rev. Kim Stone officiating. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 12:00 PM, in Stiltner Cemetery of East Lynn, WV.
