Virginia Lee Sypert, 88, went home to be with her Lord in Heaven on Friday, October 8, 2021.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Friday, October 15, 2021, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford, Texas. Funeral service will be held on Saturday October 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at Victory Baptist Church in Weatherford, followed by burial at East Greenwood Cemetery, in Weatherford.
Virginia was born in Dallas Texas, on July 9, 1933 to Frank and Mattie Lou Ella Hiegert. She married James Sypert on July 15, 1950, and together they had four children. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother always showing her love for her family and her Savior. Virginia enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her friends and family. Virginia also loved her fellowship at Victory Baptist Church.
Virginia is survived by her children, James (Karen) Sypert, Kathy (Joe) Jones, Vicki (George) Riddel, and David (Jennifer) Sypert; her 14 grandchildren, Jennifer Morris, John Sypert, Josh Sypert, Shelby Lerner, Shauna Upton, Kristen Sharp, Kimberly Ford, Tyler Jones, Daniel Riddel, Ryan Riddel, Blake Riddel, Sam Sypert, Jack Sypert and Natalie Sypert; by her 13 great-grandkids; and by her sisters, Linda Mathis and Frankie Presley.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Sypert; her sisters, Mary Joe Tramel and Pat Rosar; and her brother, Frank Hiegert, Jr.
