Virginia Carol Pegram Trogdon

Virginia Carol Pegram Trogdon, age 82 of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024, at her home.  She was born February 14, 1942, in Forsyth County to the late Marvin Pegram and Rachel Pegram.  Carol had retired from the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School system as a Teachers Assistant. She is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Albert Trogdon. Surviving are her fiancè, Thomas Bailiff; one daughter, Wendy Trogdon Phelps and husband Bobby Goins; one grandson, Michael W. Phelps; three brothers, Bob Pegram and wife Gayle, Eddie Gray Pegram and wife Susan, and Teddy Ray Pegram and wife Gloria; a half brother, Terry Inman and wife Sharon; special children close to her heart, Bobby Goins, IV, Scarlett Faulkner, Sophia Faulkner and Sadie Faulkner; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
