Virginia is survived by her daughter, Pamela Christan; her step-daughter, Sherry Murphy; fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; one sister, Roberta and her dear friends, James and Fanny Devers. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Samuel Martin and James Allen Martin and one daughter, Bessie Louise Martin and several brothers and sisters.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date. Arrangements in care of Johnson's Funeral Home.

Mom was a very strong women.she always tried to keep going.and she took me in as her own.she taught me alot and also made me a strong person.
