She is survived by her daughter, Roxanna Hood (Tony) of Louisville, Paul Zeigler of Columbus and her daughter in law, Susan Walls (Mark) of Indianapolis; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Bill and sons, Ricky, Chuck and Daryl Zeigler.
Faith in God was an important part of Virginia's life. She was a longstanding member of Columbus Baptist Church. Her trust in God was unwavering, guiding her through life's challenges even in the end.
Virginia was smart, witty and would tell it like it was, whether you wanted to hear it or not.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 18th, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street; Pastor Charles Kennedy will officiate. Family and friends may gather for visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until service time Thursday. Virginia will be laid to rest at the Garland Brook Cemetery. In memory of Virginia, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice of charities.
