Virlon Leland Smith

Virlon Leland Smith Sr. passed away on September 23, 2025 at 10:00 am at home. He was born on June 21, 1934. He was born to Edna Earl Fisher Smith and James Roy Smith in Harrah, OK. Virlon was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters and 4 brothers. He was also preceded in death by his youngest son, Dennis Glen. Virlon Married Avanell Deloris Russell on November 5, 1955. He is survived by, his wife, his children, Lela Westbrook (Corey), Virlon Smith Jr. (Linda), Quinn Smith (Mary), and Jina Carter (Tony). Seven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Virlon is also survived by a brother, Thermon Smith, and a sister LaJuana Vinson, both of Harrah, OK

Graveside services for Virlon Leland Smith Sr. will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 10:00 am at Lovington Cemetery with Dave Rowser officiating.
