MS. VIRSEYLEE GERMANY, age 74, of 1051 Tolbert Drive, Harlem, GA passed on Saturday, July 5th, 2025, at the Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, GA. Family members and friends may call at the funeral home. THOMSON FUNERAL SYSTEM, Thomson, GA oversees all arrangements.
MS. VIRSEYLEE GERMANY was born on Thursday, June 21, 1951, in Harlem, Georgia to both the late Willie "Will" Germany and Adessa Greene Germany. She departed this life for glory on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia.
She joined the First Mount Carmel Baptist Church of Appling, Georgia at an early age and was a member until her demise. Virseylee received her education by attending the public schools of Columbia County, Georgia and graduated from the former John Pierce Blanchard, Sr. High School. During her leisure time, Virseylee enjoyed fishing and gardening, but most of all, she enjoyed being with family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death and joins in Heaven, a brother, Willie Frank "Pat" Germany. She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving son, Johnny (Carla) Howard of Harlem, Georgia; two grandchildren, Johnathan Howard and Devonte Morgan, both of Harlem, Georgia; one great-grandson, Taymari Morgan of Harlem, Georgia; one sister, Willie Mae Germany of Harlem, Georgia; four brothers, Rob Willie Germany, James (Brenda) Germany, Ervin (Patricia Ann) Germany, all of Harlem, Georgia and Johnny Germany of Appling, Georgia; an additional sister-in-law, Loretta Hamilton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many loving friends.
