Vivian Ball

Vivian (Knight) Ball, age 63, of McKeesport, died July 20, 2024, at UPMC East Hospital of Monroeville. Born August 18, 1960, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Lauro and Azzie (Jackson) Knight and the wife of Paul A. Ball, Sr. Vivian retired from Kane Community Living Center, where she worked in housekeeping. She also formerly worked at Kennywood as a night shift manager. Vivian enjoyed playing bingo with friends and was the biggest Dallas Cowboys football fan. She also was a pet lover, leaving behind her loyal dog, "Missy." In addition to her husband, Vivian is survived by children, Henrietta M. Ball and Felicia A. Ball; grandchildren, Kayla M. ball, Shania L. Yarris, Erynn M. Ball, Aleysia L. Ball, Camren J. Brady, Alonna J. Ball, Brandon Ball, Tokyo M. Ball, Natilya and Mark Miliner, Theron Mahone, Jr., Jennifer Mahone, Dartagyn Everett, Briendin Everett, Marcus Griffin; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy Knight, Donna Knight, Catherine Knight, Vivien Mills, Earl Knight, Ulysius Knight, and Edward Knight; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends. Along with her parents, Vivian was also preceded in death by children, Azzie Ball and Paul A. Ball, Jr.; and brothers, William Knight, Lugene Knight, Cornelius Knight, Larry Knight, and Willie Knight. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 10 a.m. Committal prayers and burial will follow in McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery.
