Vivian E. Deardorff, 97, of York, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of Robert Deardorff to whom she was married for 55 years.

Born June 14, 1928 in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Frances (Bruggeman) Sebright.

Vivian was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church; a former member of Kreutz Creek Valley Lions Club and KCV Lioness and a member of the widow's support group.

She worked many years until her retirement as a cafeteria cook for Central York School District.

A nurturer and caregiver to members of her family, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert; daughter Karen Wakeling; son Thomas Deardorff, and two brothers Ken and Larry Sebright.

Surviving are two daughters: Debra Rider and husband Robert; Laurie Axe and companion Roy; two sons: Gene Deardorff and wife Paula; Gregory Deardorff and wife Wendy; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter.

Graveside services will be held at Mt. Rose Cemetery on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 1:00 pm. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. is assisting with arrangements.
