Vivian Hanssen Obituary
Vivian Larui Hanssen, beloved mother and wife, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025 at her home in Gaithersburg, Maryland, surrounded by her family.
Vivian was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on January 22, 1956. She attended Cornell University and later pursued a career in real estate. Vivian loved spending time in nature, whether it be hiking in the mountains of West Virginia or strolling though Longwood Gardens. She also loved celebrating holidays and birthdays, photographing special moments with her family and spending time with her three daughters.
Vivian was preceded in death by her mother Janet Fagg and her father Peter Fagg. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Hanssen, her daughters Noel Hanssen, Jasmine Hanssen, and Eleonore Hanssen, her sister Dawn Peters and her brother Chris Flagg.
