Vivian JOHNSON Obituary
November 22, 1935 - June 10, 2025
Fillmore - Vivian E. Johnson, 89, of Spokane, WA, passed away June 10, 2025. She was born November 22, 1935, in Wenatchee, WA, to Eugene Paul and Edith Florence (Smart) Smith. Vivian worked as an insurance underwriter for over 25 years and was a longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi International. She and her husband, Raymond, moved to California in 2005 to be closer to their grandchildren. Vivian joined the Red Hat Society where she made many friends and enjoyed learning about the history of the Heritage Valley. She also enjoyed art history and learned to paint at the Fillmore Senior Center adding to her accomplishments as a seamstress and quilt maker.
Vivian had 55 happy years of marriage to Raymond C. Johnson, who predeceased her in 2015. Vivian is survived by her son, Kurt; daughters, Carol and Kim; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 9am, at the Perez Family Funeral Home, 600 Central Avenue, Fillmore, CA 93015. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Vivian Johnson's name to Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.

Vivian and I were classmates at Lewis and Clark High School. She came to several of our class reunions and always seemed to have fun getting together with former classmates. She was a delightful lady.
