Vivian Over Obituary

Vivian Lorraine Over, 91, of Golden, passed away February 6, 2025. She was born May 4, 1933. Vivian attended various Denver Public Schools and graduated from West High School in 1951. 

She married James Thomas Over on January 23, 1950. They have two sons: Richard Alan born March 3, 1956 and James David Over born November 9, 1957. 

She attended Mile Hi Court Reporting School from January 1966 to January 1970 and upon graduating, she went on to work for the Aurora Municipal Court as the first court reporter in that court. In June 1971 she began employment with Agren & Goldstein Reporting firm and continued employment with them until her retirement in May of 1995. 

She was a member of Alameda Heights Methodist Church, for whom she taught Sunday School for 13 years. 

Vivian is preceded in death by her husband and daughter-in-law Debbie, brother Bob and sister Betty. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Tricia) and James, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. 

Memorial service will be held for Vivian Saturday, February 22, 2025, 1pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood. There will be a private committal at Fort Logan National Cemetery to be placed with her husband.
