I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." - II Timothy 4:7-8 Ms. Vivian Delores Thomas peacefully departed this earthly life on March 3, 2018 at McLeod Regional Medical Center of Florence SC. Vivian was born November 9, 1963 to Mary and the late James Thomas. She attended Julia Richmond High School in New York from which she graduated. She went on to give birth to three children. She spent most of her working life in the healthcare field. Vivian had a heart of gold and a spirit that could light the darkest room. She had a very nurturing soul and to many she was looked at as a mother figure or a positive role model. She enjoyed taking trips, singing, playing bingo and spending quality time with her family and friends. Vivian had strong relationship with Jehovah as she studied the bible alongside Jehovah Witnesses. She was devoted to serving Jehovah with a joyful heart. Awaiting Vivian's arrival around Heaven's throne is her loving father James P Thomas , Her sister Carla M Thomas and her grandson Javaris D McGriff. Those left to cherish her precious memories: her loving mother Mary E. Thomas of Florence, SC; three children Jashawn J Thomas, Nyasia S McGriff and Ga'nya Thomas, all of Florence, SC; her four grandchildren Jaquan J Thomas, Jamari S Reaves, Jayden Thomas and Cortez Reaves Jr. all of Florence, SC; one nephew Rasheem K Thomas of Florence ,SC, two nieces Latisha E.D Thomas and Nakia M Thomas of Florence ,SC. Five aunts; Helen McCoy, Lorene McClain, Margaret Hollingsworth, Patrica Thomas, Jamesena Graham and two uncles Lindberg Thomas and Alphonza Thomas of all of North Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends.
