Voncenia Stoudmire Obituary
A memorial service will be held at the Prattville Memorial Chapel Memory Garden on Saturday August 19, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
She was a graduate of North Highland High School class of 1968. She also attended Alabama State University. Voncenia was employed with the Autauga County Board of Education for numerous years. She taught at Prattville Kindergarten School and she thoroughly enjoyed teaching and helping her students achieve their academic goals.
In addition to her parents Voncenia was predeceased by brothers; William H. Stoudmire, Oscar Stoudmire, Forrester Stoudmire, Jr; sisters; Hazel M. Stoudmire, Mary Ann Long and Evelyn Davette Price, a niece, Jacqueline Long and a nephew Abdul Jabbar Price.
Her memories will be cherished by her son, Marcus Stoudmire, Montgomery, Alabama; her daughter, Ali Stoudmire, Prattville, Alabama; grandchildren, Marquez Stoudmire, Danien Stoudmire, Zoie Stoudmire, Zaria Stoudmire and Marcus "MJ" Stoudmire, a brother, Larry(Cynthia) Stoudmire, McDonough, Georgia; nieces, nephews, other cousins and friends, including a caring friend Latricia Gardner.
