Vonda Foster Carpenter
Vonda Foster Carpenter, 58, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on December 25, 2022 at Atrium Health Pineville in Pineville, NC. She was born in Kings Mountain, NC, daughter Bill Foster and the late Brenda McAbee Foster and was preceded in death her husband, George Carpenter and a daughter, Lindsey Megan Carpenter. Vonda was a lifelong member of Second Baptist Church, a devoted Christian as well as a loving daughter, mother, and sister. She greatly admired her aunt Cheryel Pearson for the selfless, loving person that she is. She graduated with a BSN-RN from UNC Charlotte and went on to touch the lives of many during her 35+ years of her nursing career. Vonda fought her battle with kidney disease her entire life and is now resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus with her late loved ones by her side. Vonda enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and watching her favorite TV shows. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and loved ones.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, December 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Second Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis Pruitt officiating
VISITATION: Friday, December 30, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service at Second Baptist Church
INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
