Funeral service for Vonnie Westmoreland Sparkman, 65, will be Friday, October 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Pressnell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sparkman passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024 at her residence. She was born September 28, 1959, in Indiana, to Cleo Westmoreland and Hilda Kirby Westmoreland.
She was employed as a Bus Driver for the Morgan County School System, prior to her passing. She was a member of the Flint Church of Christ. Vonnie loved to read, enjoyed gardening, her flowers and decorating.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo Westmoreland and Hilda Kirby Anders, and a brother: Greg Westmoreland.
Survivors include
Husband - Larry Sparkman
Sons - Dustin Sparkman
Bo Sparkman (Kristen)
Derek Sparkman (Whitney)
Step-Father - Luke Anders
Brothers- Chris Westmoreland (Ann)
Bobby Anders (Dana)
Sister - Amanda Westmoreland
Seven Grandchildren- Katy Randolph (Austyn), Landon Sparkman, AnnaKate Sparkman, Tatum Sparkman, Collins Sparkman, Azalee Sparkman, and Mali Sparkman.
Mother-in-law - Faye Sparkman
Pallbearers will be Recie Sparkman, Stanley Sparkman, Larry Morton, Terry Joe Johnson, Greg Taylor and Randy White.
Honorary Pallbearers - Landon Sparkman and Austyn Randolph.
In lieu of flowers; family requests memorial donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
