W.B. Anderson, 89, went home to be with the Lord on March 15, 2025, at his residence in Boswell, Oklahoma, surrounded by his loving family.
W.B. was born on June 12, 1935, in Finley, Oklahoma, the son of Willis Anderson and Inez (Coppock) Fry. He was preceded in death by his parents; the mother of his children and first wife, Miriam Tom; his second wife of 40 years, Carolyn Tabor-Anderson; brother, Bobby Anderson, sister; Juanita Hendrick and, grandchild, Miriam Benita Graham.
W.B. was a lifelong resident of the Rattan and Spencerville community. He was known as a "Jack of All Trades" by his family and worked in many different industries throughout his life. He worked at Hugo Sash and Door for many years as well as on oil riggs and as a security guard lieutenant. W.B. always enjoyed working and providing for his family. He was also a man of faith and was a member of the Apostolic Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church of Hugo. If he wasn't at church and spending time with his family, you could find him under his favorite shade tree with his right-hand man, his dog, Jackson.
W.B. was a loving father, grandfather and brother; and his memory will live on in all who knew and loved him.
W.B. Is survived by his children; Steve Bruce Anderson and wife, Vivien, Ella Mason and husband, Jan, Miriam Woodruff and Rhonda Anderson; stepchildren, Tina Sorenson, Jonathan Tabor, Mary Hoff, Curtis Tabor, Shelly Totty and LaDonna Lee; brothers, James Anderson and Lawrence Anderson; sister, Edith McDowell; 22 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a host of other friends, family and loved ones.
