W. Billingsley Obituary
W. LaMont Billingsley, age 77 passed away on February 29, 2024 in Murray, Utah. He was born on September 21, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William and Ila Billingsley. He married Sharon Carlson on February 12, 1971.
He loved camping, bowling, BBQ’s and being outside in the yard and especially loved spending time with his wife Sharon. He loved to go on walks with her to get his steps in and loved to work with computers.
He is survived by his wife Sharon, daughters Trudy (AZ) and Mindi (Shane). His seven grandchildren Gina (Matt), Evan (Frances), Michelle, Kayla, Shane Jr, Miles (Alex), and Aiden. His sisters Karen, and Leila. As well as seven great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law Wayne Lyon.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Memorial Redwood Mortuary; 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah where friends may call Thursday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to services Friday. Interment; Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
