OBITUARY
William
"Billy" Gibson Dial, age 89, of Monroe passed away on February 5, 2025. Billy
was born in Monroe on April 22, 1935 to the late Bessie Gibson Dial and the
late William Henry Dial. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Elizabeth
Everett Dial; son, Bill Dial, Jr.; grandson, Gib Dial; several brothers and
sisters.
Surviving
members of the family are wife, Anne Dial; sons, Stan Dial (Jessica), John Dial
(Janna); grandchildren, Mary Beth Williams (Neal), Christian Skogen (Michael),
David Dial, Jon Dial (Morgan), Brooks Dial, Chandler Pounds (Bailey),
Christopher Dial (Karley), Bailey Greer (Bianca); 10 great grandchildren.
A
visitation will be held from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm on Friday, February 7, 2025 in
the sanctuary of Harmony Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00
pm with the Reverend Billy Storms and the Reverend Brant Callaway officiating.
Interment will follow at Clegg Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can made to Harmony Baptist Church, 1310
Harmony Church Rd, Monroe, GA 30655.
