Lubbock - Charles Steven Dial, age 73, passed away on September 8, 2025 at his home in Lubbock.

Charles Steven Dial went to be with his Lord on September 8, 2025.

Steve was born on February 8, 1952 in Lubbock, Texas. He attended Estacada High
School, then received his Bachelor of Science in occupational education on May 8, 2004.

He completed SPAG peace officer academy in 1987. He was a certified FBI law enforcement officer and a licensed permanent peace officer.

His work history included police officer/investigator of the Shallowater Police Department. Deputy Sheriff of the Lubbock County Sheriff's office.

His interests included science and farming.

Steve was a member of Skyline Baptist Church. He received the Lord Jesus as his Savior when he was twelve years of age and followed Him in believers baptism.

He was preceded in death by his father, Burgin Dial, his mother, Varie Yett Dial, and his brother, Jimmy Ray Dial.

Steve is survived by his brother Joseph Burgin Dial (Rosemary). His nephews, Dusty Dial (Laura), Rusty Dial (Ruthie), Jimmy Ray Dial Jr.
His nieces Tamara Lynn Dial, Shellie Dial, and Jamie Watters. Great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Generations Church, 5201 University, Lubbock, Texas
