W. Margie Rohl Obituary W. Margie (Peters) Rohl, 96, of Lore City, passed away Saturday (February 8, 2025) at her home.
She was born January 14, 1929 in Waterford, daughter of the late Delbert Peters and Velma (Swain) Peters.
A 1946 graduate of Valley Local High School, Margie worked for five years at the Cambridge State Hospital and then retired in 1991 after twenty-five years at the former NCR of Cambridge.
She enjoyed quilting and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rohl, who passed away March 12, 2012. They were married June 5, 1947. Also deceased are four brothers, Willard, Raymond, Carl, and Delbert; two sisters, Mary and Olive; a son, Dean Rohl; a son-in-law, Charlie Jones; and two grandchildren.
Margie is survived by her son, Pete (& Lori) Rohl of Byesville; her daughter, Cheryl Jones of Salem; her brother, Nelson Eugene (& Irene) Peters of Sharon; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday (February 12, 2025) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m.
Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery.
