Wade Wolf Freeman Jr., went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2026, at the age of 89. He was born on November 2, 1936, to Wade Wolf Freeman and Velma Boyd Freeman. He was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. He graduated from Edgewater High School and Florida Southern College in Lakeland.
After serving a short time in the United States Army, he pursued a career in insurance.
He leaves behind his wife of 63.5 years, Kay Allsbrook Freeman. Together Wade and Kay raised three sons: Wade Kirk Freeman (1965-1996), Matthew Boyd Freeman (1968) and Eric Mitchell Freeman (1973).
Wade was described by all who knew him as a kind, nice,empathetic and gentle man. He had two siblings: John Boyd Freeman and Mary Velma Freeman Maxwell.
Wade loved his entire family with all his heart. He had three granddaughters of whom he was extremely proud: Madison Kaley Freeman, twins McKenna Rae and Molly Ann Freeman, twins McKenna Rae and Molly Ann Freeman. He called them his "M & M's".
HIs Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 20 at 11:00am. At Sanlando United Methodist Church, 1890 West State Road 434, Longwood, Florida, 32750.
