Funeral services for Wade Hassebrock, 61, of Dickinson, will be held at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson, ND at 11am on Saturday, March 29. Wade will be laid to rest in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in east Dickinson. A gathering will be held at Stevensons Funeral Home immediately after the burial. A light lunch will be served. The family requests in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Able, Inc., located at 1951 1st Street West, Dickinson, ND 58601, phone: 701-456-3000.
Wade James Hassebrock was born in Dickinson, ND on April 11, 1963. Wade passed away of natural causes on March 4, 2025. Wade was 61. Wade attended the Anchorage School in Dickinson and then Public School for children with special education needs for 9 years.
Wade was preceded in death by his parents Albert Hassebrock and Helen (Arnold/Meininger) Hassebrock who lived in Dickinson. Wade has one surviving brother, Mark Hassebrock, married to Carrie (Payne) Hassebrock who live in Frederick, Colorado. He is also survived by Haley Hassebrock (niece), Hayfield, MN, Hayden (nephew) and Cheyenne Hassebrock and son, Milo, Severance, CO and Holden Hassebrock (nephew), Frederick, CO.
Wade enjoyed simple things like trains, thunderstorms, grain elevators, bird watching and chocolate milk shakes. Wade was a long time resident of Able, Inc. group home, affectionately known as “1153” (the group home street address). Wade had many caregivers during his time at Able and Arc. Wade’s family extends their sincere appreciation to Mary Anderson and the entire Able team! We are especially grateful to Sarah Carlson, Claudia Torres and many others that cared for Wade over the years.
