Wade McCoy

Wade McCoy, 66, of Houston, Texas passed from this life Sunday, December 21, 2025. Funeral Services are set for 1PM Saturday, January 10 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Madisonville. Visitation will be from 12PM until service time on Saturday, January 10 at the Church. Rev. Rogers and Minister Robbie Morning and will officiate and burial will follow at the West End Cemetery.

Wade was born to parents Ben Jr. and Cettha McCoy. He attended school in Madisonville, TX. Wade's favorite activities included fishing, listening to music, and sports. Wade was an excellent pool player and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ben McCoy and Moetter Davis, his parents Ben Jr. and Cettha McCoy, two sisters Bennie Mae and Betty Rean McCoy, and three brothers Bennie, Tim, and Seben McCoy. Wade leaves to cherish his memories: Detra Galloway, his companion of 15 years; son Lorenzo Merchant of Madisonville, TX; daughter Kana Oshay of Midland, TX; brother Ben McCoy; three sisters Judith, Janie McCoy of Waco, TX, and Patricia Moore of Lubbock, TX; numerous grandchildren; nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
