Wade Pugh

Wade Randall Pugh, 63, lifelong panhandle resident, passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 27, 2024 at his home in Texhoma, Oklahoma; surrounded by his loving family.
The son of John William and Marjorie Louise (Lockett) Pugh, Jr., he was born January 8, 1961 in Guymon.
Wade attended school in Texhoma, graduating with the Class of 1979. He then attended Panhandle State University in Goodwell from 1979 to 1982 where he played football.
Wade and Tracy Hamilton were united in marriage on March 3, 1988 in Liberal, Kansas.
Wade worked for Texas County for 20 years, retiring in 2009. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Texhoma.
He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Pugh.
Survivors include his wife, Tracy Pugh of the home; four children: Cody Hamilton of Houston, Texas, Savannah Pugh of Guymon, Randall Jaeger and husband, Joey of Texhoma and Patton Pugh of Sayre, Oklahoma; and his mother, Marjorie Pugh of Texhoma. Survivors also include four grandchildren: Craig Wade, Gracey-Lou, Wyatt Allen and Taidlyn Kay; one sister, Tina Mills and husband, Kent of Iowa Park, Texas and two brothers, John Pugh and wife, Nancy of Burleson, Texas, and Matt Pugh and wife, Nikki of Weatherford, Oklahoma.
The family will greet friends on Friday, August 30th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning, August 31st at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Texhoma with Rev. Thomas House officiating.
