Judy Vail Obituary
The daughter of Frank J. and Mary (Edens) Ogan, she was born on January 4, 1953 in Guymon. Judy attended school in Guymon, graduating with the Class of 1971, and attended Draughon's Business school in Amarillo, Texas.
Judy and Mertis L. Vail were united in marriage on July 6, 1973 at the First Christian Church in Texhoma. Judy was a bookkeeper working for: Perkins Petroleum, Texas Co. District #3, West Texas Gas, The American Quarter Horse Association, and Black Mesa Bed & Breakfast in Kenton, Oklahoma. She was a member of Victory Center Church and the Goodwell Hilltoppers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Ogan, and brother, Billy Ogan.
Survivors include her husband, Mertis of the home in Texhoma; aunt, Barbara Ogan of Weatherford, Oklahoma; niece, Cherry Moore of Cartersville, Georgia, and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be Friday evening, February 6th between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday morning, February 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Center with Pastor Margaret Mendenhall and Eugene Like officiating. Interment will be Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. CST at the Kenton Cemetery in Kenton, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Judy can be given to Victory Center or Medical Center League House. Memorials will be accepted at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
