Wade Allen Terrell, 61, of Springfield, MO, passed away November 3, 2022, in his home. Wade was born April 26, 1961, in Wichita KS., to Rodney L. Terrell and Jacqueline "Jackie" K. Terrell.
He is survived by his two daughters; Keli Jo Allen and husband Stephen Allen (Clever, MO) and Kristen Terrell and Matt Frost (Republic, MO); three grandchildren Shelbi Allen, Trenton Allen, and Kamryn Hancock; brother Kyle Terrell and wife Sandra and their children Collin and Miranda, along with a host of dear friends he cherished deeply.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his loving parents, along with his best friend and life partner Glenn Wisdom.
Wade graduated from high school in 1979, where he lettered in football, basketball, and track. He played college football at Tarkio College for a brief time before settling back in Ozark. He went on to hold careers in insurance sales and took great pride in the years he spent as a high school referee. Wade even had the privilege to referee a tournament of champions. He also devoted his time to coaching his young daughters play softball and basketball for many years. He led Keli Jo's team to the All-American Cage Classic in Akron, OH where the girls brought home 2nd place. Wade was a lifelong KC Chiefs and STL Cardinals fan and he loved watching and playing golf.
Per Wade's wishes, he was cremated by Adams Crematory. There will be a memorial Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the Eagles Lodge #3934 located at 603 W. Plainview Rd., Springfield, MO 65810. Keli Jo has requested you to wear your Chiefs or Cardinals gear or red to honor Wade.
