It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Wade William Ward, 64, who left this world on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Born on Friday, April 22, 1960, Wade lived a full and enriching life. Remembered for his jolly personality, caring nature, and unyielding devotion towards his loved ones, Wade's presence will be profoundly missed.
Wade is survived by his loving wife, Debra Ward, his daughters, Brandi, Angelica, Samantha Ward, and step-daughters, Ashley Federer and Amanda Quinn. He also leaves behind his step-son, Ross Lewis, and his brothers, Bob, Alfred, and Criss Ward, as well as his sister, Sandra Kumpf.
He was predeceased by his father, Charely Ward, and his mother, Karey Hongola.
Known for his love of the outdoors, Wade was an avid hunter who found peace in the quiet of nature. Over the years, he had learned and mastered the art of reloading ammo, which became one of his favorite pastimes. Wade also had a deep affection for a good grilled steak or anything fresh off the grill, sharing his culinary delights frequently with those he loved.
Among his various accomplishments, starting his own trucking company was one that filled him with immense pride. A testament to his belief in hard work, patience, and lending a helping hand to others, Wade's life lessons will continue to guide those he has left behind. He was a man who could converse about anything and everything, always lending a listening ear to anyone in need.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up at Converse County Bank, P.O. Box 689, Douglas, Wyoming 82633 in Wade's honor under the name "Wade Ward Memorial."
Wade's laughter, wisdom, and kindness will be missed by all. His legacy of love and dedication will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
