Wallace Dwayne Toussaint

Wallace Dwayne Toussaint was born July 7, 1964, in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Renus Toussaint and Clara Declues Toussaint. Raised in the catholic faith, he was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and a 1982 graduate of Marion High School. Dwayne worked as a cement finisher and a truck driver, driving cross country. He enjoyed sports and having a good time. When he took the floor dancing, he thought he was the "swing out king". Mr. Toussaint departed this life Monday, November 3, 2025, in his residence surrounded by family. He leaves to cherish is memories, his wife, Ivy Toussaint; sisters, Johnette R. Mitchell, Denise Toussaint Levias, Blanche Toussaint, and Kay (Gerald) Roberts; brothers, Patrick O'neal Toussaint, Kendall (Shalena) Toussaint, and Kevin Toussaint; three stepchildren, Ryan, Brittany, and Brandon Chapman; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Declues Toussaint; father, Renus Toussaint; niece, Tamara Toussaint; nephew, Daniel Toussaint; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Toussaint. His visitation will be Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 12:00 noon with his funeral following at 2:00 p.m., at James Funeral Home.
