Wallace B. Williams, age 81, a Cleveland original with a heart as big as his Christmas collection and a laugh that could light up any room, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025. Born to Wallace Williams Sr. and Virginia Williams, he lived a life full of passion - whether capturing the drama of the racetrack as an auto racing journalist and photographer, cheering on his beloved Cleveland Indians (through thick and thin), or hunting for that perfect addition to his treasured coin collection.

A natural storyteller, Wallace spent decades chronicling the speed and spirit of auto racing, combining his keen photographer's eye with his signature wit. Between races, he delivered flowers across Cleveland, bringing beauty and laughter to countless homes. But his proudest legacy was the time he spent mentoring young men in his community, offering guidance with his unique blend of wisdom and playful humor.

Wallace's home was a year-round Christmas wonderland, overflowing with decorations collected over a lifetime - proof that his childlike joy never faded. An animal lover, loyal friend, and consummate jokester, he believed every day should include laughter and every Christmas should be celebrated like it might be the last.

He leaves behind his devoted sister, Janet H.; his lifelong friend and partner-in-crime, Karl Kammerer; loving nieces Kathleen and Shelly (Frank Sr.); nephew Jimmy Jr; Great Nephews Frank Jr., Devon, and Cody; and his beloved band of "Misfits" - Tim A., Tim M., Kenny, and Tylor - who gave him endless laughs and adventures. Wallace was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Sr. and Virginia, and his brother James.

A celebration of Wallace's extraordinary life will be held at HOLOWCHAK FUNERAL HOME; 5548 State Rd Parma OH 44134 on Sunday April 13, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:15 PM with a Funeral Service at 4:15 PM. Interment Brooklyn Hts. Cemetery, Friday May 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM. PLEASE MEET AT CEMETERY OFFICE off Broadview Rd Entrance at 10:50 AM.
