Wallace Washington, son of the late Frank and Nobie Washington, was born October 18, 1936
in
Malone, FL. He was a very hard working man who was the other half of the dynamic duo roofing
business shared and owned with his predeceased twin brother "Big Walt Washington".
Wallace was an endearing father figure and mentor who would lovingly give the proper guidance in
the game and task of life as needed. He was the example of a positive strong black man and one of the most pleasant and kind human beings one could have ever met with a rare admirable quality and beautiful soul.
Wallace's choice of comfort at most times would be a good chew and cheek full of "Beech-Nut Chewing Tobacco" or smoking a nice smooth stogie cigar while on top of a roof working or enjoying his favorite pastime hobby, which was the relaxation of fishing. He was an avid fan of sports such as basketball, football, men and women's tennis, golf and a big fan of Tiger Woods. He also enjoyed watching western movies and singing gospel music in his younger days along with his affectionately tight bond of brothers. His favorite gospel song was "Precious Lord, Take My Hand" and his favorite R&B group was the "Chi-Lites", singing: Have You Seen Her? Yes sir, Wallace Washington was a handsome black man with one of the sharpest trimmed beards in the game and had an inspirational presence here on earth that will be sorely missed, but never forgotten!
Wallace is predeceased by his significant other Dorothy "Dot" Ramsey, PARENTS: Frank and Nobie Washington, SIBLINGS: Sallie Mae Collins, Eula Mae Collins, Neater Mae Jones, Lila Fields, Frank Earl Washington, Walter Wallace Washington, Randolph Washington and Vernon Washington.
