Wallice Wayne Kirk

Wallice W. Kirk 71, of Sherman, Texas and formally of Cheyenne, Oklahoma was born July 22, 1952 at Elk City, Oklahoma to Elmo Wade and Freda Mae (Marshall) Kirk. He went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, Baylor Scott and White Heart Hospital, Plano, Texas surrounded by his loving family.
Wallice grew up attended school in Berlin, Oklahoma and graduated from Cheyenne High School, Cheyenne, Oklahoma with the class of 1970. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from August 12, 1971 to May 12, 1973 and then entered the United States Army Reserve.
Wallice married his best friend of seven years, Edith Ann (Williams) in January 2022 at Durant, Oklahoma. He spent most of his life owning and operating his business, Wallice Kirk Fencing, he loved it! His other passion was being a world traveler, going on cruises and traveling all over the world. In his spare time, he truly enjoyed going fishing as much as time allowed. Wallice was known for throwing parties at the Crawford, Oklahoma dances, where he loved listening to music, dancing and socializing with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
Cherishing his memory is his wife, Edith Ann Kirk of Sherman, Texas; two sisters, Sharon Tignor and her husband, Dickie of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Margie Anderson and her husband, John of Sweetwater, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.
Wallice is preceded in death by his parents, Elmo Wade and Freda Mae (Marshall) Kirk; three sisters, Louise Walker, Dianna Conway, and Betty Keahey; six brothers, Gordon Kirk, George Kirk; Wade Kirk, Kenneth Kirk, J.L. Kirk, and Rod Kirk.
