Walter Ardito Obituary
Walter Ardito, 43, of Guilford, passed away on Monday, August 26th, 2024. Born in Derby on September 24th, 1980, he was the beloved son of Tony and Sharon (Swinski) Ardito. A graduate of Sound School in New Haven, Walter worked for UPS as a member of Teamsters Local #443 in North Haven, for many years, and later for Werner Enterprises as a truck driver in the New England area. He enjoyed reading and collecting comic books. Walter was a loving, caring, and giving person. He loved dogs more than people, and they loved him just as much. He was the brother of Nicholas Ardito, Christopher Ardito (Lauren Schall) and Lilian Ardito. Beloved nephew of Debrah Ardito, Joseph Swinski (Grace), and Rick Ardito (Lynn). Also survived by several cousins, his parents' beagle "Max" and all the guys at DJs Comics in Wallingford.
A Celebration of Walter's Life will be held on Saturday, August 31st, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA www.secure.aspca.org . www.northhavenfuneral.com
