Walter Robert Bowker

Walter Robert Bowker, 79, of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.
Known to many as Wally and to his family as Bob, he was born in Princeton. He was a lifelong Hamilton resident and a graduate of Steinert High School. Walt was a factory worker with the ER Prefinished Metals and the American Can companies.
In his free time, Walt loved to go golfing every weekend with his best friend Tom. If the back 9 were covered with snow they would play the front 9 twice! They also loved to bowl and participated in many leagues over the years, bringing home many trophies. Walt also enjoyed going to the stock car races, especially when his nephew Chuck Flesch was racing ~he drove number 28.
Walt could also be seen at the casinos. Years ago, he and his wife Regina would go to Atlantic City and in recent years enjoyed frequenting Parx Casino.
Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Gladys (Taylor) Bowker; his sister, Joan Flesch; and his nephew and his wife, Charles Flesch, Jr. and Colleen Thomas; he is survived by his wife, Regina L. (Martini) Bowker; his sister, Marge Struble and her husband, Jim; his niece and nephews, David and Terri Flesch, and Robert Flesch; his great nieces and nephews; his great-great nieces and nephews; his many cousins; and his many dear friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. A Memorial Service will follow beginning at 12:30p.m.
Cremation will be private.
