Walter Brasher Obituary
Walter was born August 22, 1941 in Decatur County to the late W.J. and Mary Ruth Cole Brasher. He was a retired materials test engineer with the Tennessee Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Walter is survived by his wife, Linda Pulley Brasher, of Parsons; two daughters, Renah Holmes (Stan), of Florida; Lori Brasher (Alan), of Decaturville, TN; three sons, Walter Thomas Brasher, of Clarksville; J. C. Richardson II (Christy), of Indiana; Kyle Richardson (Jennifer), of Idaho.
He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren - Ashley, Leah, Rob, J. Logan, Kadi, Grant, Jayce, Nathan, Joshua, Dallin, Brayden, Hayden, Wyatt, Lily, Hannah, Savannah and Zachary; 15 Great Grandchildren - Hudson, Hattie, Nolan, James, Hazel, Klaus, Jenna, Ava, Millie, Addie, Freja, Wyatt, Ryder, Hunter and Rosie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 daughters, Sherry and Amanda Brasher, a sister, Nancy Smart and 2 brother, Ray Cole and Frank Brasher.
His Funeral Service will be held at Reed's Chapel - Decaturville at 1 PM on Tuesday, January 13th, with Darron Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Chestnut Cemetery in Bath Springs.
Visitation is Monday 4 PM - 8 PM at Reed's Chapel - Decaturville and Tuesday 12 PM until service at Reed's Chapel - Decaturville.

I was at the wedding when Aunt Linda and Uncle Walter married. I was excited to get a new uncle and new cousins! Amanda and Walt quickly became very special to me, and Uncle Walter was always a favorite among us kids....

Uncle Walter was always one of the best parts of going to Grandma's house. When my Dad and Mom married he quickly became my favorite Uncle.
