"Harold & Maude" is our favorite movie of all time. We've been having "Harold & Maude" celebrations for years with bunches of Sunflowers everywhere, yellow umbrellas, yellow raincoats and of course watching the movie again; sharing with new friends

WOW! I had been thinking about him recently.
I once had a Yahoo Groups fansite for him ("The Unofficial Bud Cort Fan Site"), until Yahoo discontinued the service, and thought about trying to find another application to transfer my files to, for which, this sad news will push me to make it happen as soon as possible.
In 2007, I got to meet him at a film festival in Maine, which had a retrospective of some of his films. We shook hands, and he was very kind and told me that he wasn't internet savvy but he was aware of the fansite and was appreciative for my respecting his privacy. From his jacket pocket, he gifted me with his press pass from a film festival that he had recently attended in the Czech Republic.
RIP to one of my favorite actors!!
