Two songs I would like to recommend to the family. "Simply the Best," by Tina Turner & "Time to Say Goodbye," by Andrea Boccelli & Sarah Brightman.

I remember cheerleading at a PHS home basketball game one time & looking up into the stands & Walt was saying the cheer with me..."If you're all for Poultney clap your hands.". Walt was my biggest fan!!!:)

I also remember standing on top of the plank (cheerleading mount) again at a PHS home basketball game & Walt was there!!!:)

Walt once said to me on the phone, "Don't put yourself down." That's all it took, I only needed to hear it once

I moved to Largo, FL on 10/27/15. Just out of the blue, Walt would call me up sometimes & we would talk. I wish I could have one more of those phone calls. My #2 Dad's voice was very comforting.

PHS Football reminds me of Walt, as does the Shrine Game & Fenway Park.

Walt was the Line Coach for PHS & I was a football cheerleader my 10th, 11th, &12th grade years. Walt was very enthusiastic & serious about the game & I appreciated him so much being there. I miss the excitement & will ALWAYS miss my #2 Dad.

We play 45 and/or cribbage (cards) in Vermont & my family was down at Walt's family's house playing the game on 8/31/82.

Years back, when we were kids, Robbie & I & Gene, Kevin & Mark used to fall asleep at the Camara's house across the street on the boys' bunk beds while our parents played cards.

Something I will ALWAYS remember about Walt was that he was a Boston Red Sox fan & PHS fan.

Walt sent me a Christmas card one year that said, "I never had a daughter, but if I did, I would've wanted her to be just like you."

Walt used to let me stay at his house after cheerleading practice & then my mom would pick me up when she was finished with work. He always used to give me a Pepsi while I was doing my homework & would ask me how my day went.

My favorite memory of Walt was when I was asked to cheer at the Shrine Game at the end of my senior year & the night before I left for cheerleading camp, he came up to our house with a card & it had money in it for me for the week.

The next favorite memory was when he came up to our house again with a grey Boston Red Sox Tshirt that he bought at Fenway Park for me

Walt again came up to the house one day with a gold pearl heart necklace for me

On my 16th bday the family gave me an antique Stanhope's The Lord's Prayer Pendant.

Walt always used to greet me as I got off the bus for away games when I was one of the senior cheerleading captains.

Many, many memories of camping at Silver Lake.

Playing Walt's baseball team, Jordan Oil (I was on Maplewood Dairy) before a softball team was developed for younger girls. Maplewood Dairy won the championship!

July 16, 1969, is my first memory of Walt. His family came up to my family's house in Poultney, VT & we watched the men walk on the moon together.

Walt...
I've learned of your passing & it is not fair.
I don't know how to say goodbye, for you were always there.
A husband, father, grandpa & friend, you fought hard right up 'til the end.
It's time to rest now & go in peace, you're jobs are done here, but all we can do is weep.
I love you today, tomorrow & always.

God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
